Recruiting Done Differently
For some time, I have considered offering hospitality career placement services through Woodruff Hospitality. I have long believed there is a need for this type of support, but I never felt drawn to traditional recruiting. Recruiting is often focused on filling an open position. That is not what I wanted to do.
Instead, I am offering career placement assistance for both hourly and salary hospitality professionals. This process does not begin with a restaurant trying to fill a vacancy. It begins with a hospitality professional seeking guidance and support as they take the next step in their career.
Process
The process starts when a hospitality professional reaches out to me. They will share their résumé, along with their career goals, interests, and aspirations. Through conversation and a careful review of their experience, I will determine whether I believe I can help them find the right opportunity.
Candidate Engagement
If I believe there is a strong fit, I will work directly with the candidate to better understand what they are looking for in their next role. My goal is to provide thoughtful guidance and help connect them with opportunities that align with their experience, goals, and values.
Employer Outreach
Once I identify a strong match, I will personally reach out to restaurant owners, operators, and hospitality leaders within my established network to explore opportunities. For me, this is about connecting top-tier hospitality talent with top-tier restaurants. The right match benefits the candidate, the employer, and ultimately the guests they serve.
Fees
Any placement fee will be paid by the hiring restaurant. My fees will be fair, competitive, and a value as compared to industry standards, while delivering value through a personalized, relationship-driven approach.
